Member Spotlight: Workhorse HQ Academy

Feb 4, 2021

We created Workhorse Academy to help parents and students who may not thrive in a virtual-schooling-at-home environment. Parents who sign up for a membership can add their students for free. Students are able to work safely together from our open coworking space in Edmonds, WA, away from distractions like siblings and video game consoles.

Currently, we have one pod of high school students from Edmonds Woodway High School in our coworking community. Tyler, Dylan, Jens, Liam, and Jonah have been working from Workhorse HQ four days a week since September. Sometimes, one of their parents works from Workhorse HQ, too. From time to time, a sister comes by to drop off snacks.

The best part of learning from Workhorse HQ, Dylan says, is that he still gets to learn with his friends. The group agrees. Adds Jonah, virtual school is going well because he is “at Workhorse and not at home.”

If you’re interested in learning more about Workhorse Academy or any of our membership options, including virtual offices, head to workhorsehq.com or email us at contact@workhorsehq.com. We understand many work and school situations are outside of the norm right now and are happy to create custom quotes.
