Member Spotlight: Kristin Swanson of Kristin Swanson Consulting

Kristin Swanson, a Workhorse HQ Founders Club member, is a coach and consultant, helping Thought Leaders with their “someday when” projects through her business, KS Consulting. Kristin’s clients know the growth initiatives they need to work on to scale their business and yet running the day to day of their businesses eats away at all their time. Kristin helps entrepreneurs create the time and space to implement those important backburner “business of tomorrow” projects. She’s found that there is gold in that which we put off. Those ideas in the back of her clients’s minds are THE THINGS that make the biggest differences in their happiness and their bottom line— she enjoys witnessing that transformation.

Kristin is a working mom, self-proclaimed “personal development junkie” and aspiring writer. Her interests and hobbies include spending time with family, traveling locally to Lake Chelan and the San Juan Islands as much as possible, boating, writing, beach walks, and reading. One fun fact about Kristin is she grew up in Edmonds and said she’d never move back to my hometown—until her husband (who is from Bellingham) talked her into it. Now, she wouldn’t trade it for the world! She loves our little town! It feels like home, has the best sunsets, and the people here are just amazing humans.

As an online networker, Kristin was drawn to Workhorse HQ because she meets people all over the world every day that she enjoys collaborating with and to whom she refers business. Lately, she had been thinking: “Why am I not doing this in person right here in Edmonds?” And then, Workhorse appeared! WHHQ helps Kristin get away from her homeschool/home office (full of distractions) and connect with other like-minded business owners.
